Adopt a Taimen

You can help Mongolian taimen--Adopt a Taimen! An annual gift of $100 pays for tracking one taimen. Each tag the science team inserts into taimen costs $300. These tags help our scientists track taimen movements, spawning behaviors and feeding patterns. It also allows us to see which taimen have been illegally caught--poaching is one of the gravest threats to this Mongolian taimen population.

With a gift of $100, we'll send you a picture of your taimen and an "adoption certificate."
