Betsy Quammen interviewed Jane Goodall following Goodall's TTF sponsored lecture in Bozeman, Montana, in April 2008. This interview has spawned a series of interviews with scientists, conservationists and religious leaders - including Iian Douglas Hamilton, Peter Matthiessen and fourteen faith leaders representing seven major international faiths. "baasaa and the sleeping monks"
During the April 2009 exchange between Mongolian Buddhist monks and US scientists and educators, the monk delegation was armed with cameras to document their experiences. With many miles on the road (the Exchange included visits to Bozeman, Yellowstone National Park, the Berkeley Pit Superfund site, and the Teton Science School in Jackson Hole, Wyoming), there were some road trip naps here and there.
